In August of 2006, members from
ensembles all over the country convened in Asheville, North Carolina to meet
with strategic planners from Artistic Logistics to develop a plan for the future
of NET.
Funding from the Ford and
Flintridge Foundations supported this national process. Leading up to the Gathering, regional meetings were held in Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Portland, New York and Chicago. The resulting findings of these meetings have been written into two reports:
