Grant Details

When we drafted our strategic plan, we identified the need to foster learning exchanges and opportunities from members to come together (see Goal: Exchange and Development).  To support this effort, NET is making available funds for Learning Exchange scholarships to support opportunities for knowledge and skill sharing. 

Awards will cover up to $300 in expenses.  The money will be paid as reimbursement once a final report is submitted. 

To apply for the Fund, individuals must complete the attached application.  Types of projects supported include:

• Registration fee for workshop participation

• Travel to visit another ensemble

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling-basis as they are received. Please submit applications electronically by emailing to Mark Valdez, National Coordinator at mvaldez@ensembletheaters.net 

Areas Not Funded

The Fund does not cover the following types of expenses:

• Materials

• Equipment

• Production

Eligibility

The Fund can only be accessed by members of NET companies and can only be applied to exchanges with other NET members.  Individuals can only be awarded one scholarship per year. 

Multiple members from an ensemble may apply, though priority will be given to members who have not yet accessed the fund.
