About Celebration Barn Theater

Celebration Barn Theater is Maine's international center for the development of original theater. Each summer we host 3 months or one and two- week long workshops multiple theatrical disciplines including improvisation, ensemble building, mime and movement and eccentric performing. Incubation Residencies allow artists up to 4 weeks to concentrate on the development of new work and to launch new productions in a bucolic rural setting away from their normal distractions. Through the Summer Performance Series, the Barn provides the opportunity to debut, advance, and perform this new work.
