Jennifer Zeyl MESSAGE FROM NOMINATION COMMITTEE This year we were blessed with an embarrassment of riches. We have nine over-qualified candidates to fill five openings. The Nominations Committee (Nom-Com) is tasked with the difficult decision of recommending a slate to the membership that is based on Board needs. We do this knowing that a large membership like ours doesn’t always have the chance to get to know each candidate nor are they well versed on what the Board needs are. The slate that we recommend is just that: a recommendation. You are free, and expected, to vote your conscience. First, here is a list of ALL nominees:

The Nom-Com’s RECOMMENDED SLATE is: It’s really important that I say that this was an incredibly difficult decision to reach, as we really did have a group of incredible nominees, each of whom would make amazing Board members. However, we took our task seriously and looked deep at what the Board needs to keep NET growing and moving forward in a way that reflects our values and our members, and that is how we arrived at this slate. To all of those who threw their hats in to the ring, on behalf of the Board and our members, thank you. It’s a generous thing you’ve done and we appreciate it and you. Please, do vote. As we’ve seen, every vote does, in fact, count.
Respectfully, NET has established the practice that all names put forward for nomination, not elected to the board, remain on the list of nominees for three years. The Board will select the appropriate alternate, should the need arise. NET’s
